CCI Takes On Alice Upside Down

TORONTO, October 31: CCI
Releasing has added the family comedy Alice Upside Down to its movie slate, taking on the international
rights, with Starz Entertainment covering the U.S.

The film features tween
stars Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock)
and Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical), with Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210) and Penny Marshall (Laverne and Shirley) also taking on lead roles. Alice Upside Down follows a girl whose family relocates, and now she
must make a new set of friends at her new school, and often escapes into a
fantasy world to cope with the pressures. The project was produced by the Alice Partnership,
organized by Open Pictures and Avondale Productions to produce quality family
programming.

"I was impressed by CCI's commitment to quality and entertaining
family programming and the solid relationships that it has with commissioning
editors and buyers internationally," said Seth Willenson on behalf of the
Alice Partnership. "Alice Upside Down combines the humor and entertainment of High School Musical with substantive
programming values."

"We are
delighted to be adding Alice Upside Down to CCI Releasing's portfolio," added Jill Keenleyside, CCI's executive VP of distribution.
"The star-studded cast and wonderfully engaging plotline make this movie
one everyone will want to take home."
