TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats has revealed the six new shows it is bringing to MIPTV, with a slate that includes the docu-reality series Play Date.

Produced by Createit Studio and Armoza Formats, each daily episode of Play Date takes place at the house of the host, where the parents and child have planned a new activity that exceeds all their creative limits. While the kids play, the parents will watch hidden from sight and see a new side of their children.

There is a new singing competition on offer from Armoza Formats, The Final Four. The twist is that the prime-time series begins where most talent shows end: with the top four finalists announced in the very first episode. “Although the four finalists have been handpicked by the judges, they should not get too comfortable because in every episode they will have to defend their seats from talented new hopefuls, bringing the beloved auditions stage to the entire season,” explains Avi Armoza, the founder and CEO of Armoza Formats. By using a dedicated app, viewers can also become contestants, “filling the entire season with emotional and dramatic peaks,” says Armoza.

The company also has two new factual-entertainment formats, the relationship-based social experiment Sex Tape and the investigative series The City Inspector. Already taken in Germany by Tresor TV and also developed by Armoza Formats following its pitch at Formagination, Sex Tape gives three couples in each episode the chance to improve their relationship by sharing their most intimate moments with others. The City Inspector is an investigative factual-entertainment format where each week a determined host will put an entire city under the magnifying glass for 48 hours. It is produced by Ukraine’s 1+1 Productions and aired on 1+1.

In addition, Armoza’s MIPTV lineup includes two new scripted shows. Separated is a comedy that follows a group of four childhood friends as they begin a new journey of singlehood and freedom together. The show is produced by Black Sheep Films Productions and aired on Israel’s Channel 2. Produced by PANORÂMICA and Chatrone, No Return is a dramatic survival story that unfolds when a group of mountain climbers, setting out to conquer one of the world’s most dangerous peaks, get caught up in a flash food leaving them stranded in the Brazilian jungle.

Armoza added: “We always look to provide our clients with content for all their needs and we believe that this diverse and international slate for MIPTV does just that, with proven successes across the genres and completely fresh formats that will bring a unique perspective to their programming. This MIP we are proud to be bringing two new in-house formats, The Final Four and Sex Tape, both of which have already attracted a lot of attention internationally, as well as shows from strong partners both in Israel and abroad.”
