Vivicast Expands 4K Channel Presence in the U.S.

Vivicast Media is building on its success in the U.S. by licensing its 4K and HDR networks to four cable operators throughout the country.

These include KPU TV, Margaretville Telephone Company (MTC), Jackson Energy Authority and the newly-launched digital subscription platform Wherever TV. Headlining the Vivicast Media 4K HDR channel lineup is Travelxp 4K HDR. Joining Travelxp 4K HDR for the three systems are the Vivicast-distributed 4K networks C4K360, 4K Universe and Nature Relaxation 4K.

Stuart Smitherman, the president of Vivicast Media, stated: “From DirecTV to Netflix to Apple, 4K and HDR television is exploding across the U.S., meeting the huge demand of 4K set owners nationwide who have been awaiting a diverse selection of 4K and HDR television entertainment. Vivicast has worked hard to build a portfolio of next-generation format channels that serve all key audience demos—from millennials to adult men and women—with an extensive array of entertainment choices. We are delighted to bring our unique and highly promotable array of 4K and 4K HDR networks to KPU TV, MTC, Jackson Energy and Wherever TV subscribers.”
