TV Academy Unveils Juried Winners for Animation

The Television Academy has revealed the juried winners for the 70th Emmy Awards in the category of outstanding individual achievement in animation.

Among the recipients are Lindsay Small-Butera, character animation, for Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time (Ketchup); Stu Livingston, storyboard artist, for Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie; Justin Martin, background designer, for Disney Channel’s The Scariest Story Ever: A Mickey Mouse Halloween Spooktacular; and Patrick Bryson, background painter, for Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe (Jungle Moon).

The other winners in the category are Jeff Scher, production designer, for HBO’s The Number on Great-Grandpa’s Arm; and Caroline Cruikshank, character animation, for FOX’s The Simpsons (Springfield Splendor).

The juried awards for both animation and motion design will be presented at the 2018 Creative Arts Awards ceremonies on September 8 and 9.
