Starz COO Jeffrey Hirsch Agrees to New Long-Term Contract

BEVERLY HILLS: Jeffrey Hirsch has signed a new contract to extend his tenure as the chief operating officer of Starz until December 2020.

Hirsch joined Starz in 2015 and in just 18 months has launched the new Starz streaming services and app, rebranded the Starz network and repositioned the Starz Encore suite of services. Hirsch continues to be responsible for overseeing affiliate sales, marketing, programming operations, network scheduling, content acquisitions, research, Starz distribution and technology and product development.
