Ryan Seacrest On Board NBC’s Million Second Quiz

UNIVERSAL CITY: Ryan Seacrest has signed on to host NBC’s upcoming interactive game show The Million Second Quiz, which he will also executive produce.

The series debuts September 9 and will continue through September 14. It will then resume on September 16 and will air each night at 8 p.m. until the finale on September 19. A winner will then claim the largest guaranteed prize in game show history.

Seacrest will be executive producing alongside Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and David Hurwitz. The series is produced by ALL3MEDIA America, Studio Lambert and Universal Television.

“When people see Ryan Seacrest, whether at the Emmys, the Oscars or New Year’s Eve, he is at the epicenter of national events,” said Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative and late night programming. “He is a broadcaster, in all the traditional sense, but also in the most contemporary—he is an accomplished host of live TV and a master of social media and pop culture. This makes him perfect for The Million Second Quiz.”
