Producer Michelle Lee Joins Apple’s Worldwide Video Team

Michelle Lee has been tapped by Apple to serve as a creative executive within the Worldwide Video team.

She will be reporting to Matt Cherniss, head of creative development. Lee has served as the producing partner of Emmy Award-winning writer and showrunner Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) since 2012. At their company True Jack Productions, Lee has developed and executive produced a variety of projects, including the high school theater show Rise for NBC, Hulu’s Aaron Paul drama The Path and an upcoming Matt Reeves collaboration for Netflix.

Prior to working with Katims, Lee spent two years as VP of television at the production company of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Sleepy Hollow, Fringe, Star Trek franchise). She began her career as a television executive at the Mark Gordon Company (Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Ray Donovan).
