NEW YORK: The original comedy series Papillon from Duopoly and Farmhouse Productions is slated to make its exclusive U.S. premiere through Hulu and Hulu Plus.

The 15×4-minute comedy stars Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall. The property was originally developed by the series’ executive producer Catherine Tait and Paul Quarrington. In Canada, Papillon aired on BITE TV in July. The U.S. release will be exclusively through the free, ad-supported Hulu and Hulu Plus subscription services.

Tait, the president of Duopoly and the executive producer of Papillon, commented, “Almost everyone has had a nightmare experience on a discount airline. Papillon is a comedy where all of those nightmares come true in the claustrophobic world of an airplane.”
