LOS ANGELES: Fox Television Studios (FTVS) has appointed Andy Bourne as its new VP of programming, reporting to company president David Madden.

Bourne comes to the role from Oni-Press/Closed on Mondays Productions, which is based at Universal TV. He had been serving as the senior VP of development and production there for three years. Most recently, Bourne was working on the NBC pilot The Sixth Gun as an executive producer. He also previously spent ten years at The Littlefield Company.

Madden, the president of FTVS, said:
"We’re very excited to have found Andy, someone with a unique eye for the types of projects that FTVS has done the past several years, but who will also help us push our brand. Andy’s a pistol who’s eager to jump in, and we welcome him to the battlefield!"
