NBCU & Comcast Hire SVP for Strategic Integration

NEW YORK: NBCUniversal and Comcast have appointed Maggie McLean Suniewick as senior VP of strategic integration, reporting to both Steve Burke, the CEO of NBCU, and Neil Smit, the president and CEO of Comcast Cable and executive VP of Comcast Corporation.

Suniewick will be spearheading NBCU's key "Symphony" initiative, a company-wide marketing effort that promotes upcoming NBCU programming, movies and events and Comcast's products and services. She is charged with identifying creative, technological and strategic opportunities between Comcast, Xfinity and NBCU's vast portfolio.

Most recently, Suniewick served as the VP of programming at Comcast Cable, where she oversaw editorial and programming across all video platforms and consumer products. From 2006 to 2010, Suniewick was the VP of strategy and development for Comcast Interactive Media.
