NATPE Spotlight: A+E Networks

Catherine Zeta-Jones portrays drug lord Griselda Blanco in the TV movie Cocaine Godmother, which A+E Networks is presenting to buyers at NATPE.

Cocaine Godmother is the gem within the jewel box of movies we have in our catalog,” says Helen Jurado, the senior director of content sales for the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets.

Another highlight is Live PD, featuring in-studio host Dan Abrams, along with Dallas Police Department detectives Rich Emberlin and Kevin Jackson, as they guide viewers through the experience of watching live footage captured by police forces around the U.S. on fixed-rig cameras as they patrol their routes.

Additionally, Jurado calls My Sordid Affair “delicious, sticky television,” and believes the scripted title will strike a chord in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.

“We provide customized content, with a little bit of everything for everyone,” she adds.
