LOS ANGELES: Four of Multicom Entertainment Group’s titles are among Amazon Video Direct’s top-performing movies and series, including the film Dangerous Intentions.

In addition to Dangerous Intentions, which stars Rose Byrne and Jay Baruchel, two other Multicom films made the top 50, including Just Buried and How Sweet It Is. Among the top ten TV series on Amazon Video Direct is Multicom’s Colonel March of Scotland Yard. The company streams tens of millions of minutes of content on the platform.

The Amazon Video Direct Stars incentive program awards a share of $1 million in bonus cash each month to providers that self-publish content into Prime Video in the following categories: top 50 movie titles, top 10 TV seasons and top 25 digital providers for all other eligible content types.

Darrin Holender, the president of Multicom Entertainment Group, commented, “Our digital distribution partnership with Amazon Video Direct has been incredibly successful, providing our worldwide audience and new fans of our content the ability to enjoy the depth of our rich library in so many ways. We see the Amazon Video Direct platform as instrumental to our global strategy, which has proven rewarding even with just over 100 of our titles on the platform so far. We have hundreds and hundreds to go, which is quite exciting.”

Multicom recently entered into an exclusive deal to distribute Ora TV’s content across all media worldwide. This agreement includes hundreds of hours of original nonfiction titles hosted by influential figures such as Larry King and William Shatner. In September, Multicom released Blood Is Blood under its horror channel banner ThrillGoreTV.
