Michael Wright Promoted to President for Trio of Turner Channels

LOS ANGELES: Michael Wright has been upped to president and head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).

Wright continues to oversee all programming and scheduling for TNT and TBS, along with original programming for TCM and original content for all three networks’ digital extensions. He is based in Los Angeles, reporting to Steve Koonin, the president of Turner Entertainment Networks. Wright was most recently the executive VP and head of programming for the three networks.
