MGM to Present Drama Series Condor & More at MIPTV

At next month’s market in Cannes, MGM Worldwide Television Distribution is slated to showcase the book-based drama series Condor, starring Max Irons, William Hurt and Mira Sorvino, among other highlights.

Condor was inspired by the novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady and screenplay Three Days of the Condor by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and David Rayfiel. MGM is also promoting TKO (working title), an obstacle course show with a twist, from executive producer Mark Burnett.

Additional TV offerings from MGM are the book-based event series The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair; the dark comedy Get Shorty; the reboot of The Contender; and Luis Miguel: The Series, about the Grammy-winning musical artist.

Theatrical film highlights include Creed II, starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone; Fighting with My Family, a dramedy about WWE Superstar Paige; Operation Finale, centered on Adolf Eichmann’s capture in 1960s Argentina; Tomb Raider, an action-packed movie led by Alicia Vikander; The Hustle, a new comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson; Overboard, a remake of the film from the 1980s; and Death Wish, directed by Eli Roth and featuring Bruce Willis.
