LOS ANGELES: Jimmy Fox (United Shades of America), an Emmy-nominated producer from All3Media’s Objective Media Group, has launched a new production company called Main Event Media.

Main Event Media will produce a variety of scripted and unscripted content. The Los Angeles-based outfit will be under the All3Media America banner and part of All3Media’s Objective Media Group. Layla Smith, CEO of Objective Media Group, and Greg Lipstone, CEO of All3Media America, will work with Fox across all of Main Event Media’s slate in both the U.S. and U.K.

Over the past three years, Fox has led the U.S. operations for Objective Media. He earned an Emmy nomination as an exec producer on the CNN docuseries United Shades of America. He also works on E!’s upcoming drama The Arrangement. He will continue to produce both shows via Main Event Media.

Most recently, Fox developed and executive produced the ID series Is OJ Innocent? The Missing Evidence. He will remain an executive producer on Starz’s Peep Show. Other titles currently in production that Fox will continue to produce under Main Event Media are Hollywood Darlings for POP and It Was Him: The Many Murders of Ed Edwards for Spike.

Before working at Objective Media, Fox was the head of creative development for Electus. He co-exec produced NBC’s Fashion Star and executive produced NBC’s Food Fighters. He also co-created and exec produced TBS’s King of the Nerds, and executive produced VH1’s Mob Wives and its spin-offs. In scripted, he was a co-EP on ABC’s Killer Women and developed the Netflix drama Marco Polo.

Fox stated: “It seemed my first choice for the company name, 22nd Century Fox, came with a slew of legal ramifications. So, Main Event Media it is. Our goal moving forward is the same it has always been, to take our work extremely seriously… ourselves, not so much.”

Lipstone added: “Bringing Jimmy in three years ago to launch Objective’s U.S. division has proven to be an extraordinary success. He is more than ready to launch his own company and we are thrilled he will remain part of the All3Media family for years to come.”
