ITVS GE & ITV Studios America Align with Little Engine Productions

SHERMAN OAKS: ITV Studios America and ITV Studios Global Entertainment have inked an overall first-look scripted programming development, production and distribution agreement with Little Engine Productions and co-founders Gina Matthews and Grant Scharbo.

ITV Studios America will serve as Little Engine’s studio partner on projects targeting U.S. television networks and streaming platforms. ITV Studios Global Entertainment will focus on projects structured as co-productions with European television networks.

Little Engine was founded in 2007 and has produced more than 1,000 hours for network television. Its credits include the miniseries Saints & Strangers (National Geographic Channel) and the drama Rush (USA).

“Gina and Grant’s vision for Little Engine, their proven experience and their deep relationships with talent and networks around the world align seamlessly with our strategy to build a global scripted television business,” said Philippe Maigret, the president of ITV Studios America. “When presented with the opportunity of finally working together to deliver compelling television for audiences worldwide, we knew it was something we could not pass up.”
