ITV Studios America Elevates John X. Kim

SHERMAN OAKS: ITV Studios America has upped seasoned showrunner John X. Kim to the post of senior executive producer.

Kim is the co-creator and executive producer of The First 48, a long-running real-life homicide investigation series on A&E. He has also executive produced A&E’s After the First 48 and The Killer Speaks, as well as BET’s upcoming The Mathis Project. In the past he has executive produced such real-life dramas as Steven Seagal Lawman, The Runaway Squad, The Interrogators, Vanished, Dallas SWAT, Miami City Vice and Crime Scenes Uncovered.

"John has been one of the most sought-after showrunners in the crime investigation and justice field," said Patrice Andrews, ITV Studios’ executive VP in New York. "His sense of story and ability to build and gain trust with the police departments we work with is unparalleled."
