Crown Media Brings in Francisco González for Distribution

Crown Media Family Networks has appointed Francisco González as senior VP of international distribution.

González is based in Studio City and reports to Chad Harris, senior VP of business development. González will be responsible for developing and overseeing international sales territories for Crown Media’s programming content. He will work closely with Harris to develop unique and strategic plans for global expansion and will work to execute upon quarterly sales targets and international revenue goals. González will oversee all of Crown Media Family Networks’ productions and original content delivery. Most recently, González served as partner and head of international sales of Storybox Entertainment, where he worked with Crown Media to distribute original movie titles.

“As the demand for Crown Media’s portfolio of original content continues to expand on a global scale, it became imperative that we grow our international sales capabilities,” said Harris. “Having previously worked with Francisco, we have not only witnessed his fierce work ethic but we know that the breadth of his knowledge and experience in the field will be instrumental as Crown Media’s content reaches new audiences.”
