LOS ANGELES: CBS has axed the long-running show CSI: Miami as well as the freshman dramas Unforgettable and A Gifted Man.

CBS did, however, lock in a deal for a tenth season of Two and a Half Men.

CSI: Miami, which stars David Caruso, has aired more than 200 episodes in its ten-year run. The original CSI and CSI: NY are expected to remain on the air. The network also cancelled two midseason series, the cop drama NYC 22 and the sitcom Rob.

CBS said: “CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy—a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’ rise to the top over the past decade. We thank all the producers—led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue—and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for ten outstanding seasons. Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of CSI: Miami in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come.”
