Betty White, Henry Winkler Among Brandon Tartikoff Award Recipients

The recipients of NATPE’s 16th annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards have been revealed, with a gala slated to take place during the market in Miami on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

The recipients are comedian/media mogul Byron Allen, founder, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios; Mara Brock Akil, writer and producer of more than 300 TV episodes; Robert Greenblatt, former chairman of NBC Entertainment; Rita Moreno, an actress/singer/dancer who currently stars in the Latino remake of One Day at a Time; comedienne Betty White, best known for her role on The Golden Girls; and actor Henry Winkler (Happy Days), currently co-starring in Barry.

These individuals are being recognized for their passion, leadership, independence and vision through their diverse work in being a part of the creation and distribution of content for the world’s traditional and digital marketplaces.
