BURBANK: Freeform has greenlit a sixth season of the live-action comedy Baby Daddy, bringing the series to its 100th episode.

Baby Daddy follows Ben, a single guy living the bachelor life with his friend and his brother. Their lives take an unexpected turn when one of Ben’s ex-girlfriends leaves a baby girl at his doorstep. In season six, Ben continues his quest to find the perfect woman and new mom for baby Emma. The second half of season five premiered on Freeform on June 1 and currently airs on Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m.

Baby Daddy stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler and Tahj Mowry, as well as Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane. The series was created by Dan Berendsen (The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Hannah Montana: The Movie). Berendsen also serves as executive producer.

“The lines between family and friends are so wonderfully crossed in Baby Daddy,” said Karey Burke, the executive VP of programming and development at Freeform. “You can always count on the Wheeler clan for a big laugh along with heartfelt moments.”
