NEW YORK: AMC’s new drama Preacher is getting its own live after-show, with Chris Hardwick of Talking Dead and Talking Saul signing up for hosting duties.

Titled Talking Preacher, the special will air after the series’ premiere and finale episodes. The hour-long talk show will feature the show’s cast, creators, producers and celebrity fans discussing and analyzing the new supernatural title. Talking Preacher will debut May 29 at 10:30 p.m. following an encore airing of Preacher‘s pilot episode. Series star Dominic Cooper and series executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Sam Catlin will join Hardwick as guests. The second installment will air following the season finale on July 31.

Talking Preacher is produced by Embassy Row with executive producers Michael Davies, Hardwick, Jen Patton, Brandon Monk and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

“It’s very clear that Chris Hardwick knows how to lead and navigate a conversation about hordes of zombies on Talking Dead and shifty lawyers on Talking Saul, so we can’t wait to see how he’ll handle this new batch of insanely, out-of-this-world characters from Preacher,” said Joel Stillerman, the president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV. “It’s amazing to see Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s comic creation come to life and I know that Chris and our special guests on Talking Preacher will have a great time engaging fans in a lively discussion around this twisted and unpredictable new series.”
