ABC is picking up a third season of Match Game, hosted by Alec Baldwin, who has entered into a first-look deal with ABC Studios.
Baldwin’s company, El Dorado Pictures, has inked a two-year first-look deal with ABC Studios. El Dorado Pictures will develop scripted and unscripted projects under the ABC Studios banner. The production company’s development executive, Mallory Schwartz, will oversee the slate which Baldwin will executive produce.
“Alec’s quick wit, charm and star power set the stage for an unadulterated and can’t-miss hour of television each week on Match Game,” said Channing Dungey, the president of ABC Entertainment. “The series is an integral part of ABC’s Fun & Games franchise, and I’m glad to have it and Alec back.”
Meanwhile, The $100,000 Pyramid and Celebrity Family Feud have received season three and four greenlights, respectively. The $100,000 Pyramid is hosted by Good Morning America co-anchor Michael Strahan. Celebrity Family Feud is led by Steve Harvey.
