Barcroft Media, WE tv in the U.S. and TCB Media Rights are co-producing the eight-part factual series Extreme Love.
The show is based on the Barcroft digital series that explores unusual relationships, such as a 21-year old woman who spends time as an “adult baby.” The 57 mid-form episodes of Extreme Love made by Barcroft have logged 290 million views on the company’s YouTube channel and more than 300 million on Facebook Watch.
“Audiences of all ages around the world have a huge appetite for incredible real-life stories,” said Barcroft Media CEO Sam Barcroft. “We’re delighted that together with WE tv, we can bring some of these jaw-dropping relationships to U.S. viewers.”
Paul Heaney CEO of TCB Media Rights, which is bringing the show to MIPCOM, added, “This is TCB’s first ever deal with WE tv and we are very aware that Barcroft’s excellent reputation has been a huge influence on their decision.”
