Video Interview with Ross Kemp

NEW YORK: Ross Kemp shares with TV Real how he and his team go about putting together Extreme World’s hard-hitting episodes and ensure that things go as smoothly as possible when embedded in hostile situations.

Since rising to prominence in the BBC soap EastEnders, Ross Kemp has made a name for himself among the factual-programming community as an investigative journalist. He has traveled to some of the world’s most dangerous locations, standing on the frontlines to help bring exposure to issues such as homelessness, illicit trade, drug addiction, violence and poverty.

Kemp has a brand-new one-off documentary, Ross Kemp: Libya’s Migrant Hell, which investigates the perilous journey from Libya to Europe that countless migrants brave every year. The doc goes out on Sky 1 on February 21, with the sixth season of Ross Kemp: Extreme World coming shortly after. With Extreme World, which is sold by Sky Vision, Kemp seeks to reveal the human stories behind some of the world’s toughest issues.
