Twofour Rights Delivers Factual Titles to Asia

Twofour Rights has sold a host of factual programs, including Alex Polizzi’s Secret Spain, into territories across Asia, with the deals totaling 199 hours.

Discovery Communications India secured rights to a package that includes This Time Next Year, A Night with My Ex and Strip Date. Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific picked up a package featuring Indian Dream Hotel on Tour (season one) and The Indian Dream Hotel (seasons one and two), which form part of the BBC brand The Real Marigold Hotel. Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific also bought the latest season of Impossible Engineering.

Bilibili in China acquired a 79-hour VOD package that includes Alex Polizzi’s Secret Spain, the latest season of the long-running show Choccywooccydoodah, and World’s Most Expensive Toys, part of the World’s Most.. strand. TVB in Hong Kong also picked up Alex Polizzi’s Secret Spain.

Additionally, A+E Networks Asia licensed Boomerang’s Hidden Restaurants, as well as Born to Kill. AETN18 in India also picked up Hidden Restaurants. Meanwhile, National Geographic Asia secured rights to air The World’s Greatest Food Markets, Scripps Networks International inked a pan-Asia deal for Cooks’ Questions and The Diner, and ITV Choice scooped up rights to air both seasons of the daytime show Chopping Block.
