Passion Distribution has snapped up the rights to the new BBC documentaries Darcey Bussell: Dancing to Happiness, Male Circumcision and The Island That Saved My Life from Matchlight.

Darcey Bussell: Dancing to Happiness follows the retired ballerina as she explores the relationship between dance and its mental health benefits.

Male Circumcision is a tentatively titled doc about the ethics of the titular procedure, while The Island That Saved My Life looks on as a young woman suffering from depression moves from a big city to a remote Scottish Island.

In addition, Passion Distribution has acquired Best Christmas Food Ever, which is slated to air on BBC One next month, from Hungry Gap Productions.
