Trio of A+E Networks Channels Launch on Poland’s INEA

LONDON: Starting today, A+E Networks’s factual-entertainment channels HISTORY, Lifetime and H2 have become available on INEA, a cable platform in Poland.

HISTORY will be offered as part of INEA’s basic package, with Lifetime and H2 in the extended tier. INEA subscribers can now watch such popular programming as Forged in Fire, the second season of Polish commission Pick’n’bid, the upcoming series The Jail: 60 Days In, docudrama Barbarians Rising and Emmy-nominated Born This Way. A+E Networks reaches more than 18 million viewers in Poland, where HISTORY, Lifetime and H2 have become available to 100,000-plus additional homes.

Izabella Wiley, the general manager at A+E Networks Poland, remarked: “This deal with INEA sets another milestone for our business in Poland. Thanks to this agreement our three channel brands will gain even more loyal viewers not only in Poznan, but also in the whole Wielkopolska region. In the coming months our channels are offering a diverse range of great programming that we are sure will attract INEA subscribers.”
