Timber Kings Among Passion’s Sales into Africa & Beyond

LONDON: Passion Distribution has closed package deals for a host of titles from its catalog, including Timber Kings, across Africa, as well as international sales for the factual-entertainment series Deadliest Pests Down Under.

Passion Distribution has licensed more than 170 hours of programming to East African broadcaster Wananchi. The package deal includes season one of the factual-entertainment series Timber Kings and Carver Kings from Paperny Entertainment. It also includes The Weather Channel titles 3 Scientists Walk into a Bar and Fat Guys in the Woods season two, as well as a series of films, Daredevils: The Sky Walker, Daredevils: The Human Bird and Daredevils: The Ice Man, which are produced by Firecracker for Channel 4.

BBC Worldwide also snapped up a package that includes the factual-entertainment series Rich Kids of Social Media, the documentary The Secret Life of Human Pups, the science special Evolution of Us and the series Deadliest Pests Down Under. Additionally, Passion secured international sales for Deadliest Pests Down Under, which was picked up by Discovery for Australia and Italy, BBC Worldwide for Poland and NTV in Germany.
