Smithsonian Slates David Attenborough Block

NEW YORK: Smithsonian Channel is marking Sir David Attenborough’s 90th birthday with seven weeks of programming featuring the iconic naturalist.

The programming stunt, “Wild with Sir David Attenborough,” runs on Wednesday nights for seven weeks, beginning April 6 with the three-part David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies. On April 27 the channel will air Flying Monsters with David Attenborough. The final three Wednesdays, May 4, 11 and 18, will be devoted to Micro Monsters with David Attenborough.

Attenborough turns 90 on May 8. His career spans more than six decades.
