Smithsonian Channel Slates New Season of Sacred Sites

Smithsonian Channel is gearing up to premiere the second installment of the factual series Sacred Sites later this summer.

Season two of Sacred Sites will travel to religious locations around the globe, from Europe to the Americas and North Africa. Episodes are titled “King Arthur,” “Maya,” “The Camino,” “Malta,” “Egyptian Priestesses” and “Nazi Myths.”

The new installment of Sacred Sites debuts on Monday, August 13, at 8 p.m. The show is produced by Ireland’s Tile Films. Stephen Rooke serves as executive producer for Tile Films, while David Royle and Tim Evans are executive producing for Smithsonian Channel.
