Sky Vision has picked up the distribution rights for the second season of the factual series A User’s Guide to Cheating Death.

The six-episode second season will once again be hosted by Timothy Caulfield, who returns to the show to continue debunking myths related to healthcare fads. Caulfield also examines the scientific facts behind some of the latest health trends.

Each episode in the new series explores a specific topic, including sleep, vitamins and supplements, germs and body hacking. Viewers learn about the impact sleep deprivation has on our wellbeing, the pros and cons of FitBits, how Artificial Intelligence is offering meaningful relationships without human interaction, and whether the vitamins and supplements we consume are doing us harm or good. A User’s Guide to Cheating Death is produced by Peacock Alley.

Caulfield said, “I am thrilled that series one had such a broad reach. Filming the show has been a true adventure. So many different perspectives on health and wellness—some bizarre, some a bit scary, but all interesting and eye-opening. I think we kicked it up a notch with series two. These are important topics that have relevance to everyone. The production team is amazing and we kind of hit a Cheating Death groove!”

Barnaby Shingleton, the director of entertainment and factual at Sky Vision, commented, “A User’s Guide to Cheating Death was a huge success internationally and it appeals to audiences everywhere. Tim Caulfield is an entertaining and informative guide, and we could not be happier to have acquired the rights to series two.”
