Sky Vision Sells Trio of Factual Series

LONDON: Sky Vision has secured sales for the animal-themed factual series The Secret Life of the Zoo, Dogs Might Fly and The Great Migration.

The Secret Life of the Zoo spotlights the behavior of animals at the Cheshire Zoo. The 6×60-minute Channel 4 show has been sold in 53 territories, including to France 5, MTV Finland, Nine Network in Australia, TV4 in Sweden and VRT in Belgium. Format rights have also been acquired by such production companies as Shine France.

Dogs Might Fly challenges rescue dogs to pilot a light aircraft. The 6×60-minute Sky 1 series has already been picked up by 15 broadcasters, including Canada’s Blue Ant Media, NTV in Japan, TV2 in Denmark, Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia.

The Great Migration follows tagged wildebeest on their long journey from Tanzania to Kenya and back. The 4×60-minute Ben Fogle-led docuseries was sold to such broadcasters as BBC Africa, Blue Ant Media, France 5 and RTVE Spain.
