TORONTO: Proper Television has kicked off production on season three of the reality series Vegas Rat Rods for broadcast on Discovery Channel in Canada and the U.S.

Vegas Rat Rods follows Steve Darnell and his team as they create custom vehicles from junkyard scraps. The 10×60-minute new season is currently being produced in Las Vegas, Nevada. Proper Rights handles the international distribution of the show, which airs in more than 180 territories.

“This season is going to be the ultimate test for Steve and the crew,” said Guy O’Sullivan, the president of Proper Television. “Business is booming and every client expects a mind-blowing rat rod more incredible than the last one. And no one feels the pressure to build the sickest rides more than Steve Darnell.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with our long-time partners at Proper Television on a new season of Vegas Rat Rods,” added Edwina Follows, the director of production at Discovery Canada. “We love the characters in this series, and our viewers are drawn to turbo-themed programming—it’s a natural fit for us.”
