TORONTO: Proper Rights has picked up the international distribution rights to For the Love of Their Brother, a documentary focused on the September 11th terrorist attacks in the U.S.

For the Love of Their Brother tells the story of the Siller family as they cope with the loss of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller by raising money for charity with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The hour-long doc features never-before-seen footage of 9/11. It is produced by 3 Roads Communications and will debut on public television in the U.S. in September.

“The 15th anniversary of the attacks on New York City’s World Trade Towers is this September,” said Proper Rights VP Natalie Vinet. “We are proud to be representing this moving and important documentary that not only commemorates the tragic event, but also which celebrates the love of a family, and the story of how something wonderful can grow from such overwhelming devastation.”

“We are thrilled at the prospect of robust international distribution of For the Love of Their Brother,” added Russ Hodge, 3 Roads’s president and a cousin of Stephen Siller. “I think it’s very important for the rest of the world to see this story of love, hope and resilience.”
