Passion Distribution has inked an exclusive first-look deal with Renowned Films, a factual and factual-entertainment production company.

Under the agreement, Passion secures the rights for The Peng Life, a new Channel 4 review show led by internet star Elijah Quashie (a.k.a. The Chicken Connoisseur). In each episode, Quashie visits a new city and reviews everything it has to offer, from the cheapest to the most expensive. The deal also includes an upcoming doc for Sky Arts about the U.K. music genre known as Grime.

Additional titles involved in the partnership are Top Dad and Stacey Dooley: Hate and Pride in Orlando.

Max Welch, the founder and creative director of Renowned Films, said: “Passion Distribution is the perfect fit for the tone and type of programming, documentaries and formats that we are producing. When looking at a partner who could maximize our international presence and who we had a natural creative synergy with, Passion Distribution was definitely the one for us. We look forward to working with them as we grow the business to the next level over the coming year.”

Emmanuelle Namiech, the CEO of Passion Distribution, added: “We’re really excited to be collaborating with the fantastic creative team at Renowned Films, and to work closely with them as they embark on the next stage of their journey. Their ideas perfectly complement our ongoing strategy to represent premium, impactful factual content.”
