NEW YORK: Oxygen Media has announced three new development projects, including one following influential social media millennials.

Social Girls (working title) will follow so-called “selfie queens,” influential social media millennials who share their lives with millions of followers every day. Review Rage from Wilshire Studios reenacts bad online reviews from both the perspective of the customer and the business owner. Love to Hate (wt), produced by A. Smith & Co. Dox, centers on celebrities whose public images were tainted by photos, tweets, rumors and more in the digital age.

“These projects tap into the various ways that our young, savvy, multicultural female audience interacts with social media,” said Cori Abraham, senior VP of development and international at Oxygen Media. “We hope to shed a fun and positive light on how this generation flourishes in the digital age.”
