New VP of Programming in Place at Travel Channel

NEW YORK: Scripps Networks Interactive has appointed Neil Regan as the VP of programming for Travel Channel.

In his new role, Regan will oversee the development and production of series and specials for Travel Channel. He will report to Courtney White, the senior VP of programming at the network.

Regan joins Travel Channel after spending three years as the senior VP of current programming and development for Zodiak New York, where he developed and oversaw series and pilots for HGTV, NBC, Discovery, Nat Geo, Food Network, E!, Esquire and Pop. He previously served as a showrunner for production companies such as Left/Right, RDF (now Zodiak), Sharp Entertainment, True Entertainment and Atlas Media. His producing credits include ABC’s Wife Swap, HGTV’s Hawaii Life and Hidden Potential, Discovery Channel’s Punkin’ Chunkin’, and Food Network’s The Next Food Network Star, Doorknock Dinners and Follow That Food.
