China Intercontinental Communication Centre (CICC) has aligned with National Geographic to co-produce Extreme China, a series of documentaries exploring some of the region’s natural sites.

Each episode explores a different landscape and the communities that thrive within it. The series is led by National Geographic explorer and photographer Ben Horton, who teams up with three other top Chinese explorers to journey into China’s extreme natural landscapes.

Geographical sites featured in the series include the Siguniang icefall, Hainan sea and Hanzhong sinkholes.
