Lucky 8 Names Creative Strategy EVP & Development Directors

NEW YORK: 60 Days In producer Lucky 8 TV has hired Bruce Robertson as executive VP of creative strategy and is adding two new directors to its development team.

In his new role, Robertson will manage Lucky 8’s development and creative direction, while also collaborating with its partners to support the creative culture of the business as the company continues to grow. He will supervise the development team and will build on the creative portfolio. He is also charged with expanding Lucky 8’s creative team in Los Angeles.

Prior to this appointment, Robertson was the executive VP of creative strategy at ITV Studios America, where he contributed to the launch of such unscripted series as #RichKids of Beverly Hills for E!, Cesar 911 for Nat Geo WILD and Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris for NBC.

Zach Perkins and Rachael Profiloski have been named directors of development. They will both help to oversee the company’s growing slate of new original series while working under Jason Bolicki, VP of development. Perkins will manage all new internally funded development projects, while Profiloski will concentrate on all network paid development.

Perkins has developed shows for HISTORY, Discovery, Science, ID, Animal Planet, LMN and Travel. He previously served as senior director of development at NorthSouth Productions. Profiloski has held such positions as senior producer and director of development at Part2 Pictures, where her directing and producing credits include This is Life with Lisa Ling for CNN.

Kim Woodard and Greg Henry, Lucky 8’s co-presidents, said: “Bruce’s keen understanding of our industry has already proven to be a valuable asset to Lucky 8 as we broaden our development operation.
