IM Global TV Bolsters Unscripted & Alternative Development Team

LOS ANGELES: IM Global Television has appointed a trio of execs to its unscripted and alternative development division, including seasoned executive producer Jennifer Colbert as VP of development.

Colbert previously served as exec producer and showrunner for such channels as A&E, Lifetime, VH1 and MTV2, and a number of production companies, including Studio Lambert, 44 Blue Productions and more. She has worked on the series Talk Soup, Pimp My Ride, Girls Next Door and The Hills, to name a few. She began her career at E! Entertainment Television.

Tim Rosenman was hired as director of development. Prior to this appointment, he was a development exec for Done and Done Productions and Lionsgate. He started his career as a producer at Viacom.

Casey Kelly has been named manager of development. She previously worked under Phil Gurin, IM Global Television’s president of unscripted and alternative, as manager of development for The Gurin Company.

Gurin commented: “It’s exciting times here at IM Global Television as we begin assembling the first wave of a team with dedicated focus on formats and programs with global appeal. With their varied professional backgrounds and experiences, I am thrilled to welcome Jennifer Colbert, Tim Rosenman and Casey Kelly, whose creative energy and passion will help us create, collaborate on and identify the most exciting new programs for all platforms both at home and around the world.”

Colbert added: “Phil Gurin is a proven and accomplished veteran in our industry, as well as a dynamic and inspiring leader.
