IM Global Television Taps ABC Alum for Unscripted Production Role

Former ABC executive Tim Bock has joined IM Global Television as its senior VP of production for unscripted and alternative.

In his new position, Bock will oversee production for the company’s unscripted and alternative division. He will report directly to Phil Gurin, the president of unscripted and alternative at IM Global Television. Bock most recently served for seven years as VP of production for ABC’s alternative series and specials department. He was also a key part of productions for all of the major broadcast and cable networks, including NBC, CBS, ESPN, HBO, TNT and more. Bock has overseen production in a range of broadcast genres, including concerts, documentaries, and reality, game, talk and variety shows.

Gurin said, “Tim is a widely respected and supremely experienced leader and executive. We are lucky to have him with us as we continue to build our international and domestic teams. His insights and talents will enable us to manage our anticipated growth, and I personally will be extremely happy to have him by my side on location or in the studio.”

Bock added, “I am very excited to join this progressive and innovative company. I am thrilled to bring my background and expertise to IM Global Television’s unscripted and alternative division and to collaborate with Stuart Ford [IM Global Television’s CEO] and Phil Gurin’s teams. We are going to build great content and also manage to have some fun doing it!”
