PARIS: Pernel Media has been commissioned to produce 20 Years on Death Row, a new English-language true-crime show, by French pay-TV network 13éme Rue.

20 Years on Death Row tells the story of Keith Doolin, a former truck driver who is on death row in a California prison after being convicted of murdering two women in 1995. There have been new developments in the case that are currently under investigation to determine if Doolin is innocent. The 4×60-minute show follows on the success of Pernel’s The Innocence Network, which also aired on 13éme Rue and is globally distributed by all3media International.

Samuel Kissous, the president of Pernel Media, commented: “The Keith Doolin case is an extraordinary story where the new evidence that has recently come to light could save his life. We’re delighted to partner again with 13éme Rue in making another gripping true-crime series which will follow Keith’s appeal process, revealing the new evidence and twists and turns of the case.”
