LOS ANGELES: Electus International has picked up the global distribution rights for the second season of the home-makeover reality series Home Free from Critical Content.

Electus has also sold the first season to broadcasters in more than 75 countries around the world, including Foxtel in Australia, TVNorge in Norway, Discovery in Denmark, SBS Discovery in Sweden, Polsat in Poland, Corus Entertainment and Groupe TVA in Canada, Discovery in Latin America, TVNZ in New Zealand, NBCU Global Networks in Asia and SIC in Portugal.

Home Free, hosted by professional contractor Mike Holmes, looks on as contestants compete to win a dream home for their heroes and a cash prize for themselves. The show’s sophomore season, which features former NFL star Tim Tebow as co-host, debuts today on FOX in the U.S.

Home Free represents the next step in the home-makeover genre, combining the big reveals and DIY tips of a typical home show with the excitement of a competition series,” said John Pollak, the president of Electus International. “The series performed tremendously well in the U.S., and we are excited to share the new season with the world.”
