Following its screening at MIPCOM, Chasing the Moon, a documentary series from the PBS International catalog, has secured 13 broadcast partners around the globe.

Chasing the Moon was snapped up by ARTE in France and Germany, BBC in the U.K. and SBS in Australia, among others. The six-hour docuseries marks next year’s 50th anniversary of the moon landing. It is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Robert Stone.

Chasing the Moon is an unmatched achievement that focuses on the science, history and, most importantly, the intimate human aspect of one of the most inspiring and tumultuous periods in modern history—the space race,” stated Tom Koch, the VP of PBS International. “Broadcasters around the world will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon with this series in the summer of 2019.”
