Blue Ant International is bringing its largest slate to date to MIPCOM 2017, with more than 800 hours of new content, including the lifestyle series Sarah Off the Grid.

Featuring celebrity designer Sarah Richardson, Sarah Off the Grid is a six-part series that headlines Blue Ant International’s factual-entertainment offering. Richardson is featured alongside her husband Alex and co-conspirator Tommy Smythe as they attempt to build an off-the-grid dream home. There is also the paranormal title UFOs: The Lost Evidence, which shares the accounts of current and former government officials, pilots, astronauts and astrophysicists as they reveal new evidence about unidentified flying objects. In addition, Blue Ant International is showcasing Crazy Beautiful Weddings, Lake Docks & Decks, Famous Feuds and Broke and Famous.

The company’s 4K natural-history offering includes Orangutan Jungle School, Wildest New Zealand, Deadly Australians and Australia’s Hidden Islands. Rooted is presented in 4K and reveals five of Southern Africa’s most iconic trees and the unique collection of animals, insects, birds and environmental elements that have created their own roots in and around them. There are also the medical series I Waited Too Long, the technology review show Get Connected and the docuseries Fight for Justice: David & Me.

“The quality of our content continues to grow exponentially with bigger budgets and globally recognized talent,” said Solange Attwood, the senior VP of Blue Ant International. “These series are entertaining and thrilling, tell compelling stories and are highly promotable in markets all over the world.”

Attwood added: “Blue Ant International is offering its largest slate yet. The quality of our newest titles from top-tier storytellers is a direct result of our global content partnership and expanded co-production slate, which remain key priorities. From highly promotable series to unique formats, we look forward to showcasing quality content to all of our global buyers.”
