MIAMI: Eva Luna, a telenovela from Venevision Productions, has debuted in Vietnam, marking the third Asian territory to broadcast the hit series.

Starring Blanca Soto and Guy Ecker, Eva Luna premiered on Vietnam’s VTV 6 on Sunday, March 3 at 10 p.m. The 26×1-hour production, which was adapted for the Asian market, previously debuted in Japan and China, and is scheduled to begin airing in Korea.

Eva Luna is one of many titles that will be presented by Venevision International at MIPTV next month.

"The broadcast of Eva Luna‘s special-edition is a direct result of our focus on the Asian region as part of our strategy for the global commercialization of our catalogue," stated Cesar Diaz, the VP of sales at Venevision International. "I have to commend Miguel Somoza, the director of sales at the forefront our efforts in Asia, for his determination and hard work. To tell the truth, we couldn’t ask for better positioning in the Asia market, as it gives us great momentum for the upcoming international market MIPTV, where we expect to continue expanding our reach in the region."
