Eva Luna to Debut on TBS Channel in Japan

MIAMA: Venevision International’s telenovela Eva Luna is slated to premiere on Japan’s TBS Channel this weekend.

A love story starring Blanca Soto and Guy Ecker, Eva Luna has already enjoyed success in parts of Asia, the Middle East, North America, Latin America and Europe. For its upcoming debut, TBS has dubbed 26×1-hour episodes of the telenovela in Japanese. 

Eva Luna will air on TBS Channel in Japan on Sunday, September 9. In addition to being broadcast on the pay-TV channel, it will be available in Japan through VOD and video streaming online and on and mobile devices.

"After conquering most of the regions of the world, Eva Luna now becomes the first Latin telenovela to be broadcasted by TBS in its distinguished 60-year history," noted Cesar Diaz, the VP of sales for Venevision International.
