VICE Media has inked a deal with Partner Communications that will see the 24-hour VICELAND channel launch in Israel later this month.

The channel will be carried by Partner Communications’ newly created platform Partner TV, with VICELAND programming made accessible as part of its OTT service. At launch, VICELAND Israel’s programming lineup will include the docuseries Jungletown, the skateboard scavenger show King of the Road and the marijuana-infused culinary series Bong Appetit.

Israel becomes the latest country to launch VICELAND as part of an ongoing global expansion that will see VICE programming in 80 territories by the first quarter of 2018.

James Rosenstock, the president of VICELAND International and chief corporate development officer at VICE Media, commented: “Boasting a dynamic and rapidly evolving TV market, Israel is considered a key part of VICELAND’s international expansion. With a shared digital vision and bold approach to accessible, multiplatform outputs, we’re excited for what’s to come with Partner Communications.”

Isaac Benbenisti, the CEO of Partner Communications, commented: “We are proud to be first to introduce VICELAND to the Israeli viewers on our newly launched television service. The unique programming and original shows of VICELAND make for a perfect fit to the changing needs and habits of today’s viewers, particularly for the X and Y generations, and with Partner TV, viewers will be able to enjoy VICELAND on any screen, TV and mobile.”
