OSN Keeps Exclusive on Disney Content for MENA

DUBAI: OSN and The Walt Disney Company have strengthened their ties, signing a new long-term deal for the MENA region that covers a range of series, movies and channel offerings.

As part of the renewed deal, OSN remains the home for Disney’s first-pay movies and channels in the region and will continue to offer an extensive selection of movies, series and coverage of the Academy Awards. OSN will also launch a dedicated Disney-branded HD movie channel early next year, as well as the Disney Forever On Demand service in the coming months, which will include Disney Channel classics.

OSN will continue to showcase blockbusters from Lucasfilm such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story; Marvel titles, including Doctor Strange; DisneyPixar films such as The Incredibles 2, as well as ABC Studios shows, among them Scandal and How To Get Away with Murder.

As the exclusive provider of the channels Disney XD, Disney Junior and Disney Channel HD in the region, OSN has enhanced the online, catch-up and on-demand Disney programming experience for “anytime, anywhere” access with the launch of three new digital services: Disney Channel Pop Pick Play, Disney English and Disney Channel Hindi.
